Fun on the Ranch!

I have plenty of places to shoot my sessions, but there is nothing better then doing on location shoots at the home of the kids. When you have the kids in their element, their smiles are better, they are more comfy and they treat you like a friend, just someone that they are showing all their cool forts and hideaways to...you are just pointing a huge camera lens at them while they are chattering away on how you can just crawl over this huge pile of trees to get to the fort that is built almost on top the creek! Seriously I had so much fun doing this shoot, Morgan and Wyatt were awesome to be around and joke with. Wyatt kept coming up with poses to do and he was having so much fun dong it! I think my favorite memory of that day was when the kids wanted to go across the creek and they were like, ya there is a bridge right over here...well, the bridge turned out to be a large stick about 6 inches wide! Let me tell you, I didn't realize I was getting old until I had to balance my way across there! Thank goodness for mom pretty much holding my hand all the way across...thanks Kendra! I am so glad I did it thought because I got some amazing shots over there! Hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I did traipsing all over the ranch yard with these kiddos!

Brothers = Friends For Life!

Living in a small town is wonderful.  You always know someone at the post office, the bank, hardware store, grocery store...you get it, you know everyone right, and that is so awesome!  But what is even better is living in the same town as you did when you were growing up.  One thing that I LOVE is being able to shoot sessions with kiddos of the kids that I went to school with....and Jayden and Jaxson are two of those kiddos...I graduated with their mom and their dad was a couple years older than me.  There is just a pretty cool feeling of community and family if you will when you have the privilege of taking pictures of you friends kids!  I hope you enjoy taking a peek at these two super cute guys!

Baby Boy Liam + Big Sis Kate= Beautiful Shoot!

Is there anything that makes a mother want another baby more than being around a mother with her newborn??  My poor husband, every time I come home from a newborn shoot I say,"Mitch I think it's time for another baby..." and he says,"no way Jill, not YET!"  Our two little "babies" are 2 and 3 and I swear we had a talk in the very beginning and we made a deal...NO being big kids till I'm ready!  Well, that deal has been broken not once but twice!  Tasha, you have two beautiful kiddos and you are so blessed!  I had a ball with you guys and feel so honored that you chose me to capture Liam's first photographs!  Everybody get ready to meet Liam and his big sister Kate!

Klein Kiddos

Kids seem to grow up so fast, it seems like just yesterday when I shot a session for these same kiddos and then they really were kiddos!  I always feel so honored and a little bit part of the family when I watch kids grow up through my camera lens!  Trev, Kaylee...you rock, I love my sessions with the two of you...can't wait for the next one!

ZANA IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Montana and for those of you who live here or have had the privilege of visiting here know that when summer ends....summer ENDS, usually beginning with 40 degree weather and dropping from there, forget that beautiful thing that is called FALL!!  Well we were so blessed this year to have an actual fall and a beautiful one at that!  I LOVE fall and spring, they are my favorite, both beautiful in their own ways, both great weather, well you get the point!  Anyways, Zanas' fab mama, Katyra booked a session for Zana and then we had to postpone for one reason or another and I was so afraid that it would snow and freeze and goodbye my beautiful fall with the leaves and colors..well, we were lucky and it stayed for long enough to get these amazing photos done!  Zana was a joy to work with and her mama was fantastic!  Thanks guys!Introducing...the BEAUTIFUL Zana...enjoy!

Sister Shoot...Whoo Hoo!

My friend Kriea Arie came to second shoot for me last weekend and she totally inspired me to shoot a session in this little town about 20 miles from where I live.  Sometimes you need new eye, if you will, to see something that has been in front of you your whole life...thats what this was like, and I am so happy that she inspired me to shoot here!  I shoot a session for my sister every year and every year it gets better...by the time she is a senior we will have to take a major road trip to out~do what we have done so far!  These shoots are always alot of fun and since shes my sister she can't say no...right?!  Well sister or not she was very agreeable to everything that I asked her to do and, lets face it, it's never boring to boss your little sister around!  I hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them!

Sneak Peaks: Jessie and Steve...more to come!

This wedding was so amazing for me for so many reasons!  Just to name a few...I had so much fun with Jessie and Steve during their engagement session...if you don't recall it went from 10 am to 8 pm...it was an outdoor wedding in the fall...my favorite time if year...my fabulous friend and fellow photographer Kriea Arie of Art by Kriea was able to come second shoot for me...the caterers had a chuck wagon....I can't name all the things that made this wedding so wonderful!  Here are two of my absolute favorites that I just had to post...I hope you all love them and can't wait to see the rest!

The Beautiful Liz :)

I really love children photo shoots but there is something to say about a session with a senior!  They are so fun and up for anything...they don't mind at all the be going to 6 different locations and laying down in the grass or upside down...it is so exciting!  Liz actually graduated a couple years ago and never got around to getting her senior pictures done so I got the opportunity to shoot her senior session...it was awsome!
